Obituary for Lulu Maxine Crawford (McMillen)
Lulu Maxine (McMillen) Crawford, 88, formerly of Indiana and Marion Center, died September 11, 2013 in Chattanooga, TN. Mrs. Crawford was born in 1925 on the family farm in Home, PA to the late Emmett and Verda (Rankin) McMillen. She attended Plumville High School and was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Indiana. For many years she operated her own beauty salon in Marion Center.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Crawford; a brother, Ronald McMillen; and a sister, Lucille Fisher.
She is survived by: her son, Gary Brewer and wife Janet of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren, Brent Brewer and wife Pam of Abingdon, MD and Courtney Good and husband, Joe of Chattanooga, TN. Her great grandchildren are: Lauren and Logan Brewer, Maryland and Tyler Good, Tennessee. She is also survived by her brother, William Eugene McMillen and wife, Maxine of Wilmington, NC; sister-in-law, Ruth McMillen of Home and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service at Marion Center Cemetery will be conducted on Saturday, October 12th at 10:30 AM with her grandson, Dr. Brent D. Brewer, officiating.
