Obituary for Margaret L. "Tess" Meshanko (Stephens)
Margaret L. “Tess” Meshanko, 88 of Clymer, PA passed away on Monday, March 2, 2015 at Indiana Regional Medical Center.
She was the daughter of Loy and Jane (Dinwiddie) Stephens, born on May 17, 1926 in Freeport, PA.
Tess was a member of the Church of The Resurrection, Clymer. She was a member of the Nursing Association and Indiana Retired Nurses Association. Tess worked for over 20 years for Dr. W. G. Evans MD in Clymer and also Dr. Victor Lan. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her son, Edward J. Meshanko and wife Cathy of Penn Run; two granddaughters, Lani Jo Evelan and husband Raymond of Spring Grove, PA and Kate Alexandra Zamboni and husband Christopher of Vintondale, PA; Two brothers, Edward Stephens, Ronald Stephens all of Freeport Area, PA; one sister, Mildred Jane Tweed of Indiana, PA.
Tess was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Joseph A. Meshanko in 1977; one sister, Dorothy Faith; one brother, Loy Stephens.
As per her request there will be no visitation, friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Resurrection, Clymer with Fr. George Saletrik, celebrant. Interment will be private in the church cemetery, Clymer.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to: Aging Services of Indiana, 1005 Oak St. Indiana PA 15701.
