Obituary for Margaret Remensky (Wanchick)

Margaret  Remensky (Wanchick)
Margaret (Wanchick) Remensky, 97 of Indiana, died Thursday, January 14th , 2016 at the Family Hospice & Palliative Care, Pittsburgh. The daughter of the late John Wanchick and Mary (Gabor) Wanchick, she was born in Sagamore, October 29, 1918.

For many years, Margaret worked at Robertshaw in Indiana. She was a longtime member of St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church, Indiana where she was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America.

Margaret enjoyed playing bingo, traveling, bowling and visiting casinos and playing slots. She also liked to play card games, especially pinochle.

She will be remembered by her son: John Remensky & wife, Marylyn, Carnegie; Grandson, David Remensky & wife, Kaitlin; Great Granddaughters, Caroline and Abigail Remensky; Brother, Michael Wanchick, Cleveland, OH; Brother-In-Law, Carmino Fatica and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Anna Chauby; Mary Aglietti; Susan Kovalchick; Helen Wanchick; Kathryn Kovalchick; Agnes Wanchick; Martha Fatica and Dolores Wanchick. She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Stacy Remensky.

Friends will be received Monday, January 18th from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Indiana. The C.D of A. will conduct a Rosary Service at 3:45PM Monday afternoon at the funeral home. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, January 19th at 11 AM at the St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church, Indiana. Interment will be at the church cemetery.
