Obituary for Marie Frances Wagner (Cochran)

Marie Frances  Wagner (Cochran)
Marie Frances (Cochran) Wagner entered Eternal Rest on Wednesday, September 17, 2014. She was born on March 30, 1938 to Harry Clair Cochran and Eva Burl (Rummel) Cochran. Preceding her in death were her parents; infant daughter, Bertha Wagner; husband, Lewis Edward Wagner; son-in-law, Sam David Nichol; and her precious granddaughter, Shannon Marie Nichol.

Marie is survived by her daughter, Ruth Elaine Nichol and her grandson, Travis Adam Nichol, whom she was tremendously proud of. Her surviving siblings include: Harry Cochran, Jr.; John Cochran & wife, Pat; Stella Mano; Shirley Miller; and brother-in-law, James Wagner and wife, Sara Jane. She is also survived by a special cousin, Marge Mano and husband, Al along with their families and extended families.

Marie was retired from the custodial staff at the Indiana Area School District. She will be remembered as an independent woman who lovingly cared about her family, friends and neighbors.

She was a member of the Kenwood (Penns Manor) Church of the Nazarene. Her favorite hobby was stamping and crafting greeting cards with her friends.

Marie’s final weeks were spent at Beacon Ridge where she was cared for by their compassionate, caring and supportive staff.

Friends will be received Saturday, September 20th from noon until 2 PM at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Clymer, where her funeral will begin at two o’clock following the visitation hours. Pastor William Degenkolb will officiate. Burial will be in the Sample Run Cemetery, Clymer.
