Obituary for Michael Joseph Reilly
Michael Joseph Reilly, 55 of Indiana, died suddenly Monday, November 9, 2015 at Indian Haven. He was born March 12, 1960 in Uniontown, PA, the son of the late Dr. James B. and Madelyn C. Reilly.
Michael obtained both a bachelor and masters of Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, with a major in Biology and minor in Chemistry. He and his family were proud of his status as an Eagle Scout and he traveled extensively internationally. His early work experience included The Department of Diagnostic Radiology at IRMC, and the Department of Surgery Research Specialist at the University of Pittsburgh. For many years, Michael greatly enjoyed his management of multiple real estate investments and projects.
Michael is survived by his six loving siblings and their families including James B. Reilly, Jr.; John C. Reilly (Debra Spadafora); Madelyn A. Reilly (Dr. Robin Girdhar); Dr. Patrick G. Reilly (Lisa Cordelli); Maureen Reilly Bash; and Bernard T. Reilly (Jayne Bish). He will also be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews, John, Bridget and Ryan Reilly; Kate Girdhar; Michelle and Sean Reilly; Brendan and Bridget Bash; Brittany and Cassandra Reilly; and great niece Hannah Reilly and great nephew Townes Reilly Gaston.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 12th from 5 – 8 PM at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Indiana. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 A.M. at St. Thomas More University Parish of Indiana. Father Alan N. Polczynski will serve as the celebrant. Interment will be in the St. Bernard Cemetery.
