Obituary for Patricia Louise Gabster (Airgood)
Patricia Louise (Airgood) Gabster, 84, of Indiana, died October 8, 2014 at Indiana Regional Medical Center.
The daughter of Joseph and Helen Magas Airgood, she was born August 20, 1930 in Dixonville. She was a lifelong resident of Indiana County.
She was a member of St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church in Indiana.
Pat enjoyed being a homemaker. She also enjoyed Crossword puzzles, quilting, reading and spending time with her family.
Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Joseph Gabster; three sons: James J. and his wife Nancy of Mt. Laurel, NJ; Jeffrey C. and wife Alicia, of Delmont; and Jon P. and wife Kristin of Oakdale. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Steven, Elizabeth, Laura, Joseph A., Joshua, Sean, Rylee and Tyler. Her sister-in-law, Kathryn Kopchick, her aunt, Maxine Magas, 2 nephews and many caring cousins also survive her.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Indiana, 965 Philadelphia St. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10AM at St. Bernard of Clairvaux. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Donations may be made, in lieu of flowers, to: St. Vincent de Paul Society 410 N. 4th Street, Indiana, PA 15701
