Obituary for Patsy Ruth Banks (Mason)

Patsy Ruth (Mason) Banks, 62, of Smicksburg, died Sunday, December 22, 2013 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center. Born in Spangler on March 12, 1951, she was the daughter of the late, Blair Russell Mason and Helen Louise (Kinter) Mason.

As a graduate of Penns Manor Jr./Sr. High School, Patsy worked as a personal care aide and also as a private house cleaner. She enjoyed working on puzzles and playing games. She also liked sewing, gardening and going to yard sales.

She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Kenneth L. Banks, whom she married June 4, 1994. She is also survived by her son, David Allen Mason, Smicksburg/Plumville Area and by the following siblings: George Mason & wife, Betty, Clymer; Don Mason & wife, Rita, Emigh, PA; Jerry Mason & wife, Janet, Emporium, PA; Russell Mason & wife, Linda, Clymer; David Mason & wife, Linda, Alverda/Strongstown Area; Carol Bailey & husband, Randy Kopsic, Penn Run; and James Mason, Clymer. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by her siblings, Robert, John and Lois. She was preceded in death by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and her mother and father – in –law.

Visitation will be Friday, December 27, 2013 from 2 - 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Clymer. Her funeral service will begin at Saturday morning at 11AM at the funeral home. Rev. Robert White will officiate. Burial will be in the Mahoning Union Cemetery, Marchand.
