Obituary for Phyllis Bernice Bailey (Medal)
Phyllis B. (Medal) Bailey, 77, of Indiana, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2015. Born February 5, 1938 in Chicago, IL, she was a daughter of the late Edward C. Medal and Esther C. (Marose) Medal. She was the widow of Gordon L. Bailey, her husband of 47 years.
Her memory will be cherished by her children Kevin W. Bailey & his wife, Andrea U., Jacksonville, FL; Robyn L. Bailey-Orchard, Indiana; her grandsons Anthony “Tatt” Orchard & his girlfriend Norene Moore; and Jeremy “Jem” Bailey-Orchard, all of Indiana.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Lois Medal Smallwood; Bill Medal, and Eddie Medal.
Friends will be received Friday, May 8 from 6-8 PM at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Indiana. A second visitation will be held Saturday morning from 10 – 11AM prior to her funeral service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana.
Memorial donations may be made to the Indiana County Humane Society, 191 Airport Rd, Indiana, PA 15701.
