Phyllis Ann  Deitman (Beer)
Phyllis Ann (Beer) Deitman, 88 of Clymer, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2015 at Indiana Regional Medical Center.

She was the daughter of Jesse R. and Nellie F. (English) Beer, born on October 9, 1926 in Love Joy, PA.

Phyllis owned and operated a luncheonette in Clymer in the early 60’s. She loved to cook and retired from the Holiday Inn in Indiana as a chef. Phyllis worked with her daughter-in-law’s catering business, Deitman’s Catering. She was a member of the Cookport Lutheran Ladies Aid and the Clymer American Legion Auxiliary where she served as president for more than 50 years of service. Phyllis had a big heart and would help anyone in need. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by seven children, Edward and wife Cindy Pugh of Buck Run; Sharon Muenz of Chicago; Kirt and wife Lori Witter of Taylorsville; Lou Ann and husband Barry Miller of Taylorsville; Todd and wife Julia Robles of Dixonville; David and wife Sue Flowers of Manor; Eric and wife Jen Pallovich of Kenwood; 22 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Also surviving is Nephew, Brian Beer and family and a very special brother-in- law, Bob Deitman.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James P. Deitman; one brother, Bernard Beer; and one grandson, Darrin Muenz; one great granddaughter, Laken Petrill.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, July 6, 2015 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home, Clymer. Her funeral service will be on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Interment will be made in the East Mahoning Cemetery.
