Obituary for Ralph R. Stiffler

Ralph Repine Stiffler, 71, of Indiana, died Thursday, June 16, 2016 at the Latrobe Hospital. He had most recently resided at the Mountainview Specialty Care Center, Greensburg. Born in Home, PA, November 20, 1944, he was a son of the late, Samuel Stiffler and Mina (Mosley) Stiffler.

He was a graduate of Marion Center High School and was a U.S. Army veteran having served during the Vietnam War.

Ralph previously worked at the: G.C. Murphy Store in Indiana; the former Ames Dept. Store, the Blairsville McDonald's and worked as a pipe fitter in White Township.

He enjoyed following the Pittsburgh sports teams and NASCAR. He liked fishing and talking politics. He was a member of the First Church of God, Indiana.

He is survived by his son, Brandon Stiffler & wife, Jill, Indiana; brothers: Howard Stiffler, Indiana; Lawrence Stiffler & wife, Cindy, Ernest and George Sinick & wife, Barb, Home, PA. He is also survived by his former wife, Susan Borck, Indiana and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 6:00 to 7:00 PM Monday, June 20th at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Indiana , where his funeral service will begin at seven o’clock Monday evening at the funeral home. Pastor Ed Newell will officiate. Burial will be at a later date at the Grove Chapel Cemetery.
