Reno Pozzini, 74 of Dixonville, PA., passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at his home.

He was the son of Frederick and Carmella (Stanga) Pozzini, born on March 14, 1938 in Rayne Twp.

Reno worked for R & P Coal Co. for 29 years. He was a life time member of the Dixonville Moose post 833 and UMWA local 1412. Reno loved to hunt and fish especially rabbit hunting with his beagle. He enjoyed going to the family hunting camp in Potter County. Reno was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Reno had a special relationship with his grandchildren that were the love of his life.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Barr) Pozzini of Dixonville; three sons, Anthony of McIntyre; Joseph and wife Tammy of northern Cambria; Mark and wife Betty Jo of Ernest; three grandchildren, Michael, nick and Bella; four step-grandchildren, Randy, Matthew, Rita and David; one step-great-granddaughter, Kyra Rose; four sisters, Francis Stanga; Irma Colpo; Rose Smith; Inez Stanga; one brother, Carl Pozzini.

Reno was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Albert and one sister, Tina Leonard.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, January 5, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home, Clymer. His funeral service will be on Sunday, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Nathan Zipfel, officiating. Intermant will be private.
