Obituary for Stephen James "Parker" Balogh

Stephen “Parker” James Balogh, 54, of Creekside died suddenly, Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at home. He was the husband of Alice (Steffish) Balogh, whom he married May 25, 1990.

Stephen was born November 16, 1958 in Indiana, the son of Margaret (Zappy) Balogh, of Indiana and the late William Balogh.

Stephen previously worked as a Nursing Assistant at Mountain View Heights Haven in Penn Run. He was a graduate of Purchase Line High School. He enjoyed reading, doing jigsaw puzzles and watching the Steelers and Penguins. He was also a life member of Clymer Vol. Fire Dept.

In addition to his wife, Stephen is survived by his sons John William Balogh and Bradley Daniel Balogh, both of Creekside. His surviving siblings are Margaret Batulis and her husband Jerry, Mary Jane Gromley, Dorothy Wissinger, Dennis Balogh and his wife Dawn as well as his sister-in-law, Diana Balogh, all of Indiana and Paul Balogh and his wife Valerie of Dixonville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and his brothers Michael and William Balogh.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 23, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 and again from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home, of Indiana. A funeral service will be held Friday, May 24th at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Sample Run cemetery.
