Obituary for Susan Pauline Trunzo (Sarnovsky)

Susan Pauline  Trunzo (Sarnovsky)
Susan Pauline (Sarnovsky) Trunzo, 76 of Dixonville, PA., passed away at her home on Saturday, March 22, 2014. Born in Dixonville, March 13, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Frank S. Sarnovsky and Susanna (Harchuck) Sarnovsky

She was a graduate of the former Green Township High School and a retired food service worker at IUP where she was employed for nearly twenty years. She was a member of the Church of the Resurrection, Clymer.

Pauline, as she was known by her family and friends, enjoyed polka music and dancing. She also liked bowling and loved to go shopping. More than anything, she loved to be with her family, especially her nieces and nephews.

Susan is survived by her sisters: Mary E. Coleman, Seven Hills, OH; Eileen J. Sarnovsky (with whom she shared a home), Dixonville; Eleanor Gnibus & husband, John, Homer City; and sister-in-law, Andrea Sarnovsky, Dixonville. She will also be remembered by her nieces: Deborah Coleman, Parma, OH; Christina Gnibus, Mayfield Heights, OH; Stephanie Falce, Murrysville, and nephews: James Coleman, Seven Hills, OH and Francis Sarnovsky, Indiana. Her great nieces are: Clare and Annmarie Falce, Murrysville. Pauline will also be missed by her loving dog, Rosie.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Francis S. Sarnovsky who died in 2012.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM, Tuesday, March 25th at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Clymer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday morning at 10 AM at the Church of the Resurrection, Clymer. Rev. Fr. George Saletrik, celebrant. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery in Dixonville.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charitable organization of the donor’s choice.
