Obituary for Tracey Marie Howard

Tracey Marie  Howard
Tracey Marie Howard, 57, of Indiana, died Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born on October 15, 1957, she was a daughter of the late Mary Constance (Kane) Howard and Gerald E. Howard, Indiana.

She enjoyed flowers and gardening, going to auctions and garage sales. She also liked to cross stitch, listen to Blues music, eat “Genuine Tacos” and play with her dog, “Baby”. She always found joy in reading books.

Tracey was the owner of Tracey’s Upscale Resale and Consignment on Philadelphia Street in Indiana. She adored her consignors and loved everyone associated with her business.

In addition to her father, Tracey will be remembered by her son, Sean Michael Howard, Indiana. Her surviving siblings are: Sandra Wilson, Indiana and Sean Howard, Bellingham, WA. Other survivors include her nieces and a nephew: Jennifer Wilson, Wakefield, RI; Stephen Wilson, Indiana, and Kellie Howard, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her mother and brother, Michael Howard.

Friends will be received on Friday, September 25th from 6:30 until 8:30 PM at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Indiana where a Memorial Service will begin at 8:30 o’clock. Interment will be private and held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to: Downtown Indiana Inc. toward a Legacy Gift Plaque that will honor Tracey forever on the Vinegar Hill Steps, and help fund the Downtown Indiana Streetscape Project.
