Obituary for Paula Dalton Whitney

Paula  Dalton Whitney
Paula Kay Dalton, 39, of Barr Slope, died suddenly Thursday morning, March 17, 2016 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center Emergency Room. The daughter of Paul E. Dalton and the late, Virginia Rose (Chelton) Dalton, she was born in Indiana, PA October 9, 1976.

Paula was a 1994 graduate of Penns Manor High School. She also received a B.A. in Human Resources from Phoenix University. She had been working as a service representative for the AAA office of Indiana County.

She enjoyed the company of her cat and dogs, Toby, Mia, Ty and Casey. Paula was always helping others. She would often do whatever she could to make someone else’s life a little more bearable.

Paula enjoyed traveling to sites all over the United States. She went to MOOSE conventions with her boyfriend, John.

She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Clymer American Legion.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her companion, John “Rooster” Pennington, Barr Slope; step-mother, Brenda Gromley Ryen, Clymer and step-brother, Kyle J. Gromley Gardner, Clymer and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Paula was preceded in death by her mother and her brother, William T. Dalton.

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, March 22nd at 2 PM at the Clymer American Legion. Interment will be at a later date.
