Obituary for Betty E Turko (Stephens)
Betty E. (Stephens) Turko, 89, of Indiana, PA., Formally of Heilwood, PA., passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA.
She was the daughter of Albin and Gertrude (Ondriezek) Stephens, born on September 25, 1924 in Ebensburg, PA.
Betty was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church, Indiana, PA. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by two children, Pete Turko and wife Carren of Fairfax, VA; Pam Turko of Indiana, PA; one sister, Joann McKotch and husband George of Ebensburg, PA; six grandchildren, Heather, Shelley, Adam, Ben, Brian and David; three great-grandchildren, Abby, Cody and Braden.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Peter Turko; one son, Gary in 1965; two brothers, Paul and Harold Stephens; one sister, Ruth Schaffer.
All services will be private and interment will be made in the Oakland Cemetery. The arrangements are being handled by the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home, Indiana.
