Obituary for Budd E. Siverd
Budd E. Siverd, 80 of Clymer, PA, passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at his home.
A son of John and Dulcie (Burnheimer) Siverd, he was born on July 25, 1929, in Leard, Pennsylvania (Green Twp.).
Mr. Siverd was a member of the U.M.W.A. Local 6796 District 2 of Ebensburg having worked in open pit coal mining. He enjoyed his farm and hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Carroll Evelyn (Stitt) Siverd of Clymer, PA; six children: Budd Jr. and wife Patty of Northern Cambria, PA; Becky Brothers and husband Roger of Cookport, PA; Beverly Lohr and husband Terry of Greensburg, PA; David, Daniel and Brad, all of Clymer, PA; three step-grandchildren: Sarah Parker, Brad and Leah Lohr; a brother, John Gilbert and wife Arlene of Commodore, PA; and a sister, Eunice Smith and husband William of Indiana, PA.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Wayne; and sisters, Marvel Stiffler and Meredith Spencer.
Friends will be received at the Bence Funeral Home in Clymer from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, March 28. His funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert White officiating. Interment will follow in East Mahoning Cemetery in Grant Twp.
