Obituary for Darlene K. Freeman (Blystone)
Darlene K. (Blystone) Freeman, 60, of Clymer, PA., died on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at her home with her loving family at her side.
She was the daughter of Stanley and Geraldine (Woods) Blystone, born on September 9, 1949 in Terre Haute, Indiana.
Darlene grew up in Terre Haute, Indiana and Indiana County. She attended schools in Terre Haute; Indiana and Marion Center.
Darlene was a homemaker and of the Protestant Faith. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She married her childhood sweetheart David Freeman Sr. on December 6, 1965 in Indiana County.
Darlene is survived by her husband, David of Clymer; her six Children, Linda and husband Reggie of Clymer; Bonnie and husband Rick of Indiana; Kayla and husband Scott of Huntingdon WV; Margaret and husband Dana of Ona, WV; David and wife Penny of Mahaffey; Matt and wife Shelby of Shelocta; three brothers, Billy, Leroy and John Blystone all of Terre Haute, IN; two sisters, Patricia Allen and Tammy Morgan both of Terre Haute, IN;
She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, two step grandchildren; one great-grandchild and many Aunts, Uncles, nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Bence Funeral Home in Clymer on Saturday, March 20, 2010 from 5-7 p.m. with her funeral service following at 7 p.m. with Pastor Robert White, officiating. Interment will be private.
The family request that memorial contribution be made to: Horizons Hospice LLC, 309 East Plank Rd., Altoona, PA 16602.
