Obituary for Dorothy Gaidosh
Dorothy Gaidosh, 83, of DuBois, PA, formerly of Heilwood, Indiana Co., died Sunday, November 15, 2009, at her home.
Born May 30, 1926, in Somerset, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Michael Romick and Kathryn (Gill) Romick. She married Peter Gaidosh on May 8, 1943. He preceded her in death on January 7, 2004.
Dorothy was a member of the DuBois Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She loved gardening and most importantly sharing her hope that the earth would eventually be transformed into a garden under the mighty and loving hand of her creator Jehovah God. She loved talking to people about the Bible.
She is survived by one son, Thomas and wife Sandra Gaydosh; sisters Mary Klein, Ann Presto, Agnes Mazon, Gloria Jean Hudie and Betty Kaito; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by twin sons: Michael and John; two brothers: John and Michael; and two sisters: Sophie and Elizabeth.
Friends will be received at the Bence Funeral Home in Clymer on Tuesday, Nov. 17, from 4-7 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home immediately following visitation. Interment will be private.
