Obituary for George Kochman

George Kochman, 80 of Clymer, PA., passed away on Monday, August 26, 2013 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.

He was the son of Joseph and Rose (Renskoski) Kochman, he was born on April 27, 1933 in Indiana, PA.

George was a member St. Michael Orthodox Greek Catholic Church, Clymer. He served in the United States Army. George was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved to tinker around and work in his garden. He was a member of the Clymer Slovak Club. George loved his cats.

He is survived by his son, Ronald “Butch” and wife Tina of Elizabethtown, PA; one grandson, Kristopher; two sisters, Irene Kuzemchak and husband Jim of Indiana and Dorothy Holuta and husband Michael of Clymer; and numerous nieces and nephews.

George was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jeanette E. (Galido) Kochman; two brothers and two sisters.

Friends will be received at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home, Clymer from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, August 30, 2013 with Parastas held at 7 p.m. His funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at St. Michael Orthodox Greek Catholic Church, Clymer the the Very Rev. Matthew Conjelko, officiating. Interment will follow in St. Michael Orthodox Cemetery in Cherryhill Twp. with military rites conducted by the Clymer American Legion Post 222.
