Obituary for Paul Michael Mocek
Paul Michael Mocek, 50, of Blairsville, PA, died Saturday, October 24, 2009, at Indiana Regional Medical Center.
A son of Stanley Alexander and Mary Ellen (Harris) Mocek, he was born on September 15, 1959, in Indiana, Pennsylvania.
Paul was a caring gentle man. He loved spending time with his family, especially with his daughters, in various activities such as the movies, plays or just watching TV.
Paul had worked as a chemist with Pace Analytical. He enjoyed his work, watching the Steelers, reading, and teasing everyone around him. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and cared for him.
Surviving are his wife, Lynnan (McGee) Mocek of Blairsville, PA; his father; two daughters: Kaylee Christine and Catherine Rose, both of Blairsville, PA; and a brother, Stanley Edward “Ed” Mosek and wife Andria of Jacksonville, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Friends will be received at the Bence-Mihalcik Funeral Home in Indiana on Friday, Oct. 30, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Additional visitation will be held from 9-10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31, at St. Thomas More University Parish in Indiana immediately followed by his funeral service at 10:00 a.m. at the church with Pastor Chuck Kitner and Rev. William Lechnar co-officiating. Interment will follow in Marchand Cemetery in North Mahoning Twp.
