Obituary for Robert E. Geneva
Robert E. Geneva, 64 of Clymer, PA., passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at James E. Van Zandt
VA Medical Center in Altoona, PA.
He was the son of Frank and Helen (Wasilko) Geneva, born on June 21, 1949 in Indiana, PA.
Bob loved riding his motor cycle and he belonged to the Clymer American Legion Riders and the Cherry
Tree Cycle Club. Bob also was a member of the Clymer American Legion, post 222, the Dixonville Moose
and the Clymer Slovak Club. Bob also served his country in the United States Army.
He is survived by three children, Jason Geneva and wife Marsha of Penn Run; Danielle Shank of Cherry
Tree; Derek Geneva of Clymer; one brother, Steve Geneva and wife Sally of TX; one sister Mildred
Gibbons of CT; three grandchildren, Julianna and Alyssa Shank; Gage Iseman; two step-grandchildren,
Marissa and Jesse Orr.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jill (Mortensen) Geneva in 2003; two brothers, Andy
and Mike Geneva.
The family invites family and friends to a memorial service at the Clymer American Legion at 12 noon
on Saturday, October 26, 2013 with the Clymer American Legion post 222 conducting the service. The
Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home Clymer is handling the arrangements.
