Obituary for Twila A. Lantzy (Butler)
Twila A. (Butler) Lantzy, 81 of Aultman, died Friday, August 7, 2009 at Indiana Regional Medical Center.
She was the daughter of Charles and Catherine (Murray) Butler born on September 24, 1927 in Bakerton PA. Twila worked at IUP in housekeeping for 18 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Twila is survived by her children: Janet C. Rummell; Juanita L. Ball both of Aultman; Frank C. Lanzty and wife Karen of Homer City; Robert R. Lantzy of Ellwood City and Donna S. Andrufski and husband Walter of Homer City; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one sister: Verna Sopotnick and husband Stanley of Homer City and a dear family friend: Darlene Shutt of Havre De Grace MD and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Frank H. Lantzy; one granddaughter: Sherri Lynn Rummell and 17 brothers and sisters.
Friends will be received on Monday, August 10, 2009 from 2-4 p.m and 7- 9 pm at the Bence-Mihalcik Funeral Home, Indiana. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Glen V. Propst. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
