Obituary for Virgil "Dave" Bunch
Virgil “Dave” Bunch, 68, of Dixonville, PA., died Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at his home.
He was the son of Forrest and Goldie (McGuire) Bunch, born on October 5, 1940 in Dayton, Indiana.
Dave served in the United States Air Force for eight years. He worked for Henry’s Marathon in Kokomo, Indiana and was self-employed for seven years. Dave was a loving husband, brother and friend.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann (Leasure) Bunch of Dixonville, PA; two sisters, Viola Guffey and husband James of Russiaville, Indiana; Eleanor Miller of Kokomo, Indiana; one brother, Leo Bunch of Kokomo, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.
Dave was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Issac, Louis, Donald and Bobby; two sisters, Barbara and Verna Mae.
Friends will be received on Thursday, July 30, 2009 from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Bence Funeral Home, Clymer with a funeral service at 7 p.m. with Pastor Michael Fisher, officiating. Interment will be private.
The family request that memorial contributions be made to: Asera Care (Hospice), 706 Eisenhower Blvd. Suite 3, Johnstown PA., 15904.
