Obituary for Judith A Skubis
Judith A. Skubis, 72, Clymer, died Tuesday, January 7th at the Crystal Waters Personal Care Home in Home, PA. Born in Clymer on March 3, 1941, she was a daughter of the late John Frank Skubis and Alberta S. (Wolanin) Skubis.
Judy was a beloved school teacher in the Clymer area for many years. She spent her career teaching English at Marion Center High School.
Judy was a lifelong member of the Church of the Resurrection in Clymer.
Miss Skubis is survived by her sister, Janice Sieranski and her husband, Jeffrey of Loveland, CO. Her sister Carol Dick preceded her in death this past July. She is also survived by the following nieces and nephews: Jeffrey Dick and wife, Vanessa of Sagamore Hills, OH; Jennifer Moore and husband, Brian of Madison, WI; Gregory Sieranski of Charlotte, N.C. and Daniel Sieranski of Riverside, Calif. She has seven great nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Sunday, January 12th from 2:30-5:30 PM at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Clymer where a Rosary Service will be held at 5:30 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday morning at 10 AM at the Church of the Resurrection, Clymer. Rev. Timothy Kruthaupt will be the celebrant. Interment will follow in the St. Bernard Cemetery, Indiana.
Memorial donations may be made to the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration Assoc.
