When I met Rickie

I meet Rickie in the late 70’s. One day he came into my photography studio and asked if I would do some photo work he needed. He wanted photos of the St. Patrick’s church, but there was a catch; Rickie wanted me to donate the photos and my time. Rickie was in the process of having St. Patrick’s church and cemetery, at Cameron’s Bottom, registered in the Pennsylvania Registry of Historic sites and needed photos to submit with the application. Rickie was very persuasive and I agreed to donate the photos and my time. At St. Patrick’s he asked if I would climb up inside the church steeple and take photos of the church bell. Rickie used the church bell photos to get in touch with the bell manufacturer and received copies of the bill of lading, shipping documents and the bell delivery date to St. Patrick’s church. Rickie did get St. Patrick’s church and cemetery registered in the Pennsylvania Inventory of Historic sites and I was rewarded with these memories and Rickie’s friendship.
