Condolence From: Cathy Rodgers
Condolence: What an amazing man! What an amazing life! Our condolences to Phyllis and all of Rickie's family. I am so proud to have known Rickie for most of my life, he was good friends with both my parents, my grandparents and aunts and uncles as well as me. My memories of Rickie are so many that it would be difficult to write about all of them; those memories are very special and will remain in my heart forever. I will say that he was there for so many events in my life, and my appreciation of him and love for him will be lasting. Rickie lived a long, and very fulfilling life. He worked hard not only in his mortal life but worked hard to to make certain that he would have eternal life; and I have no doubts that he will be looking upon all of us now.
I remember feeling so much comfort when our priest told me at my mother's funeral that now we can ask my mom to interced for us. Thus it is true with Rickie, for all of the prayers he said while he was here with us, I am certain it will be the same now that he is with the Father. God Bless you all, our prayers are with you. George and Cathy (Kisovec) Rodgers.

Condolence: Life is a gift from God. Our children, family, friends, neighbors, and strangers are all gifts to be savored. Although some days may be full of hardship and sadness, each breath, heartbeat, and thought illustrates the beautiful gift of life. Ricky, you opened your eyes to those experiencing loss, giving you the unique ability to provide support and compassion to others. You always believed that the rest of your life can be the best of your life. And, our greatest hope is that of an eternal heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ. Ricky, you followed the righteous path and heaven is your reward. Please give our Mum and Dad a big hug and kiss from his family. We sure do miss them. Rest in peace to our dearest friend.
