Irish Rose
Nanny adored her Irish cousins and the affection was always mutual.
The Burke Clan came to Pittsburgh ten years ago for Tom and Trisha's
wedding just so Nanny and Pop- pop could attend.
She traveled to Galway and Dublin several times and was first there, with Aunt Mare,
when her grandson Ryan was born- surely the only reason she agreed to come home.
Her heart was never far from the Emerald Isle and she brought us all such lovely gifts.
Her generosity could only be matched by her beauty and integrity.
No one ever wanted to disappoint Madelyn.
The Luck of the Irish indeed- wasn't it ours to have known her.
